Post graduation I have been keeping busy. No full time job offers in reach quite yet, but there’s plenty of time for that. I’ve been keeping busy learning: WordPress theme developing, Javascript, html5, CSS3, and most recently git and github.

Finished up the One Child Our Future site from an old school project (http://onechildourfuture.org). This was a pretty funny project but a decent learning experience. I pretty much built the site using three different CMS services, joomla, drupal, and wordpress. I kept switching because I didn’t like certain aspects. WordPress had the best developer experience for me and will probably be the easiest for the client to understand. No client problems yet, but then again no content. Time will tell on that one.

On the other side of life both new nephews are getting big. Rolling over, laughing, sitting up, spitting up, getting teeth, and chubby as ever (the good kind). I can’t wait for them to start crawling, walking and talking but I’m getting a little ahead of things there.

So we got into new groups and had to come up with a new game idea based on new themes and new mechanics. I was thinking about explaining what our new game was, but I made a quick graphic for our presentation that does an alright job at explaining it.
